Support Sidekick

Support Sidekick Initiative.

Every contribution helps us provide real support, real conversations and practical community action. Become a monthly supporter or give a one-off gift.

Why it matters

Real work, kept running by real people.

Sidekick Initiative provides real support, real conversations, community walks, gym sessions, mentoring, recovery support, school and community work, and awareness campaigns.

Financial support helps cover travel, equipment, insurance, venue costs, training, safeguarding, content, campaign delivery and practical support for people in the community.

We keep it simple. What comes in goes back out into the work.

How support is used.

  • Community activities

Walks, gym sessions, meet-ups, mentoring hours and check-ins with people who need someone in their corner.

  • Travel and challenge delivery

Fuel, transport and logistics for Sidekick 90 challenges, community events and outreach across the UK.

  • Equipment and safety

Kit, first aid, hi-vis, navigation and the practical gear that keeps sessions safe in all weather.

  • Insurance, training and safeguarding

Public liability cover, ongoing training, safeguarding practice and the paperwork that protects everyone involved.

  • Communications and awareness

Website, content, campaign delivery and the everyday storytelling that keeps the conversation moving.

  • Practical support and programme delivery

Direct, human help for people in the community: hot drinks, food, travel to appointments, small essentials.
